Mon - Sept 3rd - "First Fight", Eating & Moving Around

Sofia has been very good with the baby so far.... now that Solymar demands more attention, is moving around and grabs everything, our 3 yr old has her moments.
Sometimes Solymar has a toy and Sofia takes it from her, we get to know because Solymar screams! she might be little but she holds her ground.
The other day Solymar pulled Sofia's her, something she has been doing for sometime now; this particular day it seems big sister Sofia got tired of it and pulled Solymar's hair too!
It must have been hard because the poor baby started crying ... certainly the first of many "hair pulling fights"!

We've started feeding Solymar solids on a daily basis, first cereal then bananas now peaches. So far it seems she only likes the peaches. We have to resort to tricks to get her to open the mouth. We make her smile or give her something to play with; she opens her mouth, we feed her and soon she realizes we are tricking her. At that point we end up with a tightly seal mouth until the plate and spoon are put away. 

Solymar is not quite strong to crawl yet, but that doesn't stop her from moving around. She lunges herself forward and moves all over the floor. She also knows she can roll over towards the direction she wants to go and so we leave her in one spot and she goes wherever she wants....
