I tried to get her to do it again in front of the camera but she couldn't content her excitment and it was all just silliness (video below). Yesterday, we had orientation day, we got to meet the teachers, parents and kids. Sofia loved it!, she checked out where her locker was, where the potty was, she participated in circle time and got to play.
Today, when the teacher came to get her out of the car, she welcomed her with a smile. She was so ready for the moment, she didn't even care to turn to Mommy and Daddy to say bye.
She had a great first day and told us everything she did while at school; She painted with yellow, the color of the day which she also needed to wear; she listened to a story with a racoon that gave all of them kisses and she played with toys, among other things. We were all very excited and look forward to this new chapter of Sofia's childhood.
If you are wondering about homework, we had to get creative today because tomorrow Sofia needs to wear red, bring a red item, also an item that starts with A along with pictures of things that start with A! It's fun to be back at school.
