Thur - July 26th - Sofia's Eyes & Pedaling

Sofia had an appointment with the eye Dr. this week as a follow up from an abnormal eye exam at the pediatrician's office. Turns out she is developing  myopia and the Dr expects her to need glasses as soon as grade school definitely by middle school.
The visit was interesting ...  we were asked if Sofia could see 3D, we didn't know.  The assistant puts 3D glasses on her and gives her a tablet. It had the image of a bee, Sofia was asked to pinch the bee's wings and it was funny to see her "pinching" the wings of the bee by making the pinching gesture above the screen. So, now we know she can see 3D. The rest of the eye test was matching letters and she matched all the letters correctly. Conclusion, she is fine now, but she'll need glasses just like Mommy and Daddy.

Almost a year an a half ago, Sofia and I put together her tricycle, at that time she could barely reach the pedals... now she tells me "yo solita" (by myself !) because she is the "big girl" of the house.
