Mon - July 9th - "Solymar's First Trip"

We spent part of last week under the Florida sun. It was Solymar's first trip on an airplane. There was some loud babble on the way to Florida and some screaming on the way back to NJ but no melt down, nothing to make other passengers remember miss cranky pants.


We all had a good time in Florida ... from Daddy's side of the family;   grandma Iris, aunties Cindy and Iris, cousins Clara, Zi'yon, Emmanuel, Luis, Miguel and even great grandpa got to meet Solymar for the first time. Solymar was full of smiles; making everyone happy.Sofia had a great time playing with her little cousins.

We also got to spent time with Titi Awilda,Tio Francisco and Daddy's cousins; Omar, Luis and his family.  Solymar loves to sleep on her uncle's chest and she stayed calm for a while withTiti Awilda holding her which gave Mommy nice breaks to enjoy pool time with Sofia. Sofia had a great time with her cousin Gaby  and learned how to use floating tubes to swim on her own around the pool.

Mommy's brother was also visiting Florida and so him and his family got to meet Solymar  for the first time too. Mommy got to see her niece after 10 years!!! ... Mommy was very happy.

Overall a great family vacation!!
