We had lots of fun this weekend...On Friday, Cousin David invited Sofia to go to the
Circus. Daddy took Sofia to the circus while Solymar and Mommy stayed home relaxing and watching TV. Sofia told Mommy she saw motorcycles inside a ball, elephants that sat on drums, dogs like Chula that did tricks and that she had lots of fun.
Saturday we went to cousin Gia's first birthday party.
Mommy wasn't sure if little Solymar was ready to go to her first party... but after some hesitation we all went. Solymar got to meet lots of family members. She spent 3 hours asleep and 2-3 hours awake!!!
Sofia had lots of fun playing with balloons, dancing, playing with her cousins and watching the clown show. At the end of the night Mommy was glad they went to the party.
This was also the first time Sofia had the chance to show
her potty training skills outside of the house. She had no trouble coming to Mommy twice to go use the potty. She also has continued to be dry at night; Mommy considers this skill mastered.
Then on Sunday the Muñoz Manor was full of visitors just like Daddy likes it!
Tio Julius, Titi Kate and Fraternity cousin Adalaide came to meet Solymar. We all had a great time together as always. Mommy expects Sol and Adalaide to have lots of fun together since they are so close in age. We are looking forward to play dates and sleep overs!
Tio Noel and Titi Joanna came to visit too. Titi Joanna and her Mom took care of dinner, Mommy was very happy and the food was delicious. Sofia had two girls to play with; they colored, played with toys and played hide and seek ... Sofia was happy.
Overall a fantastic weekend for the whole family!!!
It was so great to hang out yesterday, even with the 5 outfit changes we consider it one of our most successful and most 'normal' weekend as parents!!
ReplyDeleteThis will most likely be the last time that A is 2x the size of Sol - As A isn't too far off the size of the 6 month babies in her class.
Can't wait to hang out again soon!

ReplyDeleteWow! what a busy weekend the Munoz family had. Everyone looks like they had a beautiful weekend. I am elated that Sofia got to go to the Circus. What an accomplishment with the toilet training. Yippeee!!! Love you all.
