Tues Nov 6th - "Halloween Fun"

When Mommy moved from Puerto Rico to New York, she thought hurricanes will no longer be a problem but now in New Jersey, two years in a row we've been hit!
Last year Solymar was safe and sound in Mommy's belly and Sofia slept through it. We didn't lose power but the French doors in Mommy's and the family rooms were opened by the wind because they were not closed properly.
Lesson learned; we closed them tight this year and good we did because hurricane Sandy's winds were stronger, so much more that we lost 8 pines in the front of the house and had no power for 3.5 days.

Luckily Fraternity Uncle Julius and Auntie Kate had power in PA and we headed that way... It was awesome because Sofia and Solymar got to go trick or treating for the first time with fraternity cousin Adalaide!!!

This Halloween Sofia had lots of fun.... aside from trick or treating; she went to a "haunted playground" close by home and had her first school trip to a pumpkin patch. She brought home a pumpkin and carved it with Daddy.
