Mon May 7th - Growing Like a Weed!

Solymar is 11 weeks old as of Friday and she is getting bigger by the minute. Mommy loves her chubby cheeks and legs. She keeps Titi Mayi busy during the day since she sleeps less during the day now giving Mommy a 5 hr stretch at night. When she is awake, she either wants milk or attention.  Below is a video of the smiles and baby talk  that make our hearts melt. Notice her "trompita" (pouty face) at the end of the video as she gets startle by noise from the kitchen.

Big sister Sofia's routine has changed drastically, she went from having  Titi Mayi's full attention most of the day to getting very little of her time. Nonetheless Sofia is protective  of the little one, expresses her love and kisses Solymar every day.  She is a good big sister and takes care of the baby by  giving her the pacifier when she cries or talking to her to entertain her. Below is a video of Sofia reading to the baby. She makes Mommy very proud.... and I hope they grow up to be very close.
