30 days, 4 days
Today I was moved out of the high risk area into the regular maternity area, that means I am not hooked to the monitors around the clock and I am allowed to get up to go to the rest room and take a shower... (a much needed shower after two days stuck to the bed!!)
The baby’s heart beat was ok in the morning but in the afternoon, she stayed high between 157 and 170…I was put on an IV again.
Sam got here last night and will spend the week with me, he came to the Hospital today with a bunch of fruits, a sandwich, orange and snacks.... he saw me yesterday when I was not allowed to eat.... more than 24 hrs without food makes for very unpleasant Suleyka....
Sam is staying with friends, Julius and Kate who live close by… I've gotten multiple calls and had multiple email exchanges with coworkers, friends and family.... We are lucky to have so many people who care and are close to us ... It means a lot to me, Thank You!!
The night was tough for me because after an afternoon nap I stopped feeling the baby, they put her in the monitor and her heart beat was in the upper 150-160 which was not her normal rate the day before… the DRs were not worried but I was since I couldn’t feel her movements… around 9pm I couldn’t take it anymore ... I just went to sleep. The poor nurse was frustrated because she couldn't say or do anything to console me ....I just wanted my little one to start moving again.
